The European iOS gaming landscape saw significant activity in the racing category during the first quarter of 2021. Sensor Tower's data provides a clear picture of how five prominent racing games performed in this period.

Happy Printer experienced a meteoric rise in downloads, starting with approximately 6K in the week of February 15 and peaking at over 600K in the following week. The game's downloads showed a declining trend after this spike, falling to around 150K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, hitting a high of approximately 750K in early March before decreasing to nearly 270K by the end of the quarter. Revenue figures for Happy Printer saw a gradual increase from $4 to $443 in mid-March before settling at around $210 by the quarter's close.

Voodoo's Shortcut Run saw its downloads decreasing from 335K at the end of December to around 120K at the end of March. The game's revenue showed fluctuations, with the highest at $570 in late January and stabilizing at $421 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users also experienced a downward trend, from 747K to 408K over the same period.

Zynga Inc.'s Gear Race 3D downloads showed a consistent decline from 313K at the end of December to around 46K by the end of March. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, decreasing from 480K to 92K over the quarter. Revenue data for Gear Race 3D was negligible, with the highest reported revenue being $77 in mid-March.

Lastly, ABC Runner from JoyPac had a significant download surge in early February with nearly 300K downloads, before declining to around 38K by the end of March. The weekly active users saw a peak of 299K in early February, which then dropped to about 75K by the end of the quarter. Revenue for ABC Runner was minimal, with the highest weekly revenue reported at $281.
